The Atlas depicts Kenya’s resources from a wide range of themes namely: demographic, economic, social, geological. forestry, educational, medical and many others. The first edition of the National Atlas of Kenya was published in 1959; the second edition in 1962, the third edition in 1970 and the fourth edition was prepared and published in 1991 and the fifth edition in 2003.
